ABOUT ME
Julian started performing at the young age of 6 with a small community theater called Reading Community Players in one of the USA's poorest cities Reading, PA.. Once he hit the stage for the first time it was love at first sight. Julian then started to perform regularly at theaters throughout this hometown along with beginning his dance studio training at multiple studios in the area.
Through his hard work, Morales started being given opportunities to dance captain and student-direct a few shows. Morales was given the opportunity to choreograph James And The Giant Peach with reading community players. After much success with James, Julian started to perform outside of the berks county area. Julian began performing with Ephrata Performing Arts Center and The Susquehanna Stage Co. where Julian received a nomination for Best Actor Under 25 for his performance as “Paul” in A Chorus Line at the 2017 BroadwayWorld Awards.
In 2018, Julian was able to Produce, Direct, and Choreograph The Wiz with ACT. Morales received several nominations in the 2018 Broadway World Awards for his work on The Wiz, including Best Director, Best Choreographer, and Best Musical. Shortly after he was given the opportunity to leave his hometown to move to New York City to begin his journey at The Institute For American Musical Theater (IAMT). This massive opportunity has given Julian the most amazing teachers & connections in the industry. Along with the opportunity to work with some top composers, casting agents, and directors, New York has to offer. Not to mention being able to begin his career as a choreographer while his amazing teacher and meteors cheer him on.
After graduating IAMT Julian had the honor of being selected to participate in Dance Lab New York’s Broadway Choreography Summer 2021 Intensive where he could continue his studies of choreography while engaging with top musical theater industry professionals. Shortly after he began working up & down the eastern seaboard in the live entertainment industry! Having worked with major companies like Cedar Fair Entertainment, RWS Entertainment Group, Sea Worlds Entertainment (Busch Gardens Williamsburg), & Matt Davenport Productions just to name a few! Having worked on over 14 productions & performed over 2,500 performances.
Now Morales is ready and eager to continue sharing his creative wheelhouse with well-established companies that are looking to innovate and create talent-based, story-driven, high-production-value shows and entertainment. His mission is to deliver the highest quality entertainment that dazzles audiences and allows them to escape their lives for a few hours to be immersed in the world of my art.
